In this position you will contribute to the assessment and rehabilitation of patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including osteoarthritis and postoperative recovery following procedures such as total knee replacement. You will work closely with qualified physiotherapists to help deliver tailored exercise programmes and support the smooth running of gym‑based exercise groups.
You will assist patients during sessions, manage administrative processes associated with the classes, contact patients to arrange appointments, and gather feedback at the end of treatment. This role offers flexible working hours, 22.5–37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, primarily based at Droitwich Medical Centre and Crowngate Physiotherapy Clinic, with travel to other sites as required.
Responsibilities
* Assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
* Continue patient treatment plans delivered by qualified physiotherapists.
* Support and deliver gym‑based exercise classes.
* Assist classes held within physiotherapy clinics.
* Guide patients safely and effectively through exercise programmes.
* Complete administrative tasks associated with classes and patient pathways.
* Contact patients to arrange appointments and collect feedback at the end of treatment.
* Manage stock levels and support supply chain processes to ensure equipment and resources are available.
