My client is seeking comprehensive HR Assistant support to the HR Advisor and wider team, ensuring the smooth running of HR processes. This is a traditional, fully on site role within a busy environment that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Hours: 25 hours per week (on site, 5 days per week)
Core hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Salary £30,000 pro rota
Location: Suffolk
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases accurately.
Support recruitment processes, including arranging interviews and managing documentation.
Assist with on boarding new employees and processing leavers.
Prepare HR-related letters, contracts, and correspondence.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
Provide administrative support for performance reviews, training records, and other HR activities.
Assist with payroll administration and absence tracking.
Cover reception duties for approximately one hour per week, as required.
Support the HR Advisor with any ad hoc tasks or projects.Key Requirements:
Previous experience in an HR support or administration role.
Strong data entry and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
