To support this next phase of growth we need a proactive, ambitious and commercially hands on CRO to play a key role in shaping our future growth journey.
The Market Lead for Care Technology will own all health and care revenue streams, drive strategic growth, market positioning, and stakeholder engagement for digital solutions that support adult and children’s social care, domiciliary care, and integrated health services. This role is pivotal in aligning technology innovation with the evolving needs of care providers, commissioners, and service users.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Development
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for health and care tech solutions..
* Monitor policy, funding, and regulatory developments affecting local authorities.
* Identify market trends and opportunities for innovation and growth.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong relationships with health and care officers, council leaders, CIOs, procurement teams, and regional bodies.
* Represent the organisation at public sector care forums, events, and working groups.
* Collaborate with external partners to support joint initiatives and funding bids.
Product & Innovation Alignment
* Lead product strategy for the health and care suit of products
* Work with product teams to ensure solutions meet the operational and strategic needs of councils.
* Translate user feedback and policy changes into product enhancements.
* Champion co-design and agile development with local government stakeholders.
Sales & Commercial Leadership
* Lead sales teams with strategic insights, bid development, and client engagement.
* Accountable for new name, renewals, upsell and cross-sell for care products.
* Responsibility for customer management and retention
* Ownership of health and care revenue, both ARR and services.
* Support the CRO in pricing and value proposition strategies for health and care offerings.
* Track performance metrics including adoption, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
* Support pricing strategy and value proposition development.
Transformation & Change Enablement
* Promote technology as a driver of service transformation and efficiency.
* Support councils in digital maturity assessments and roadmap development.
* Align solutions with national frameworks and standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Degree in Health & Social Care, Business, Public Policy, or Technology.
* Familiarity with digital care planning, remote monitoring, or assistive technologies.
* Experience in procurement, commissioning, or policy influencing within the care sector.
* Proven experience in local government, public sector technology, or digital transformation.
* Strong understanding of council operations, funding models, and procurement processes.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making.
* Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
