An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and creative Teacher of Art & Design to join our thriving 11–19 mixed comprehensive school in MK6.

The Role
We are seeking a passionate and innovative teacher who:
* Delivers engaging and inspiring Art & Design lessons across Key Stages 3–5
* Encourages creativity, experimentation, and technical skill development
* Contributes to a broad and ambitious curriculum that promotes artistic excellence
* Supports high levels of achievement and progress for all students
* Is keen to contribute to extracurricular opportunities such as exhibitions, competitions, clubs, and community arts projects
The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting creativity and self-expression while upholding the school’s ethos and high standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Art, Fine Art, Design, or a closely related subject
* PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines and media
* Ability to teach Art & Design at GCSE level (A Level desirable)
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* A willingness to support and uphold the Catholic ethos of the school
Desirable:
* Experience teaching A Level Art & Design
* Experience in specialist areas such as photography, textiles, 3D design, or digital art
* Involvement in enrichment activities or whole-school creative initiatives
