Job Summary
We are looking for an Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our park stays well-maintained, clean, and inviting. You will be responsible for all grounds maintenance duties, ensuring that green spaces are immaculate and that facilities are kept in top condition. This role offers a variety of tasks and is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors.
Job Duties
* Cutting grass and maintaining lawn areas to high standards
* Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery
* Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds
* General gardening duties, including planting and upkeep of green areas
* Collecting and disposing of rubbish/litter and managing bin areas
* Distributing deliveries to relevant departments
* Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges
* Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed
* Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations
* Litter picking and keeping park areas clean
Requirements
* Previous experience in grounds maintenance and gardening
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
* A professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality
* Experience in caravan park environments is an advantage
* Plumbing experience would be beneficial, though not essential
* Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and maintain a neat appearance
* Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the park
