EC-Council (www.eccouncil.org) is the world’s leading provider of cybersecurity certification and training, with a presence in 145 countries. We are proud to be the developers and owners of a suite of globally recognised cybersecurity programmes. Having trained and certified over 400,000 professionals worldwide, we have influenced the cybersecurity strategies of countless organisations across the globe.

About the Role:

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Manager to lead our academic initiatives across the UK and EU. This is a strategic leadership position, responsible for representing EC-Council within the academic sector, driving the adoption of our world-class cybersecurity certification programmes within universities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in working with educators across the UK and EU and will be highly passionate about introducing our globally recognised curricula to these universities.

This role also entails managing our existing university partnerships, ensuring partner institutions have the educational resources and support they need to effectively deliver our curriculum to their students.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual with an interest in cybersecurity, who is ready to make an immediate impact in this fast-paced role. Collaboration is key as you will be working closely with internal teams, including marketing, finance, and support, as well as with our strategic channel partners, to expand EC-Council’s presence in the European market.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead efforts to identify, recruit, and onboard new university partners across the UK and EU.
* Manage and nurture relationships with existing academic partners, supporting them in delivering EC-Council’s curriculum.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that the goals and key performance indicators (OKRs) for the role are met.
* Take a proactive, hands-on approach with partners, driving initiatives such as marketing campaigns, webinars, and product demonstrations.
* Monitor the strategic direction of cybersecurity trends across the regions in your remit, ensuring EC-Council remains at the forefront.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive channel business plan for the region.
* Lead sales training efforts, enabling the sales teams of partner universities to drive success.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally complemented by an MBA or technical graduate qualification (or equivalent experience).
* 6-10 years of experience in partner management, ideally within the UK and European markets.
* A proven track record in sales, with a clear understanding of how to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
* Experience within the IT/Cybersecurity industry would be advantageous, though not essential.
* Previous experience in the education sector is preferred.
* Strong technical knowledge, coupled with sales expertise, to effectively engage with customers and lead discussions.

Additional Information:

EC-Council is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, or veteran status, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

We are also dedicated to providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities. If you require assistance to complete any part of the application process due to a medical condition or disability, please contact us at [emailprotected], and we will be happy to assist.
