Reference 2026-171736 Position description Domain Production Job field / Job profile Supply chain - Supply chain manager Job title Senior Supply Chain Manager Employment type Permanent Professional category Professional, Engineer & Manager Part time / Full time Full-time Job description - Drive accountabilities within all responsible teams to improve performance and ownership - Responsible to achieve the site inventory plan - Management of the Procurement, Planning and Logistics processes and their improvement; - Implement and manage key performance indicators at supplier and team level; - Ensures demand is provided to and accepted by the suppliers in accordance with their manufacturing lead time. - Recommends and maintain optimal inventory levels at various stages in the supply chain in order to achieve customer satisfaction levels as well as mitigate inventory exposure - Ensure forward visibility of supply gaps and define actions to size, resolve and communicate business impact; - Escalate as appropriate with the supply base to ensure adequate resources are employed to eliminate any delays; - Ensure that preventative action is implemented robustly at the source of the root cause; - Define and personally lead recovery planning if off plan - Conduct regular operational account reviews monthly and quarterly, meeting management team at suppliers on a regular basis to drive performance improvement and support strategic account reviews with key suppliers; - Development of team skills through training and personal development plans; - Further develop delivery models to support inventory optimisation and maximise material availability - Responsible for all recruitment, performance management and development of the team. - Support the roll out of digital supply chain tools defined in the Safran roadmap 4.0 supply chain and organize Data control tower for the site - Defines and negotiates the logistics contracts for the business. Candidate skills & requirements - Proven ability to develop teams in terms of skill, performance, accountability and maturity - Strong leadership approach and ability to bring teams together to achieve a goal - Proven experience in international supply chain management and processes - Proven experience in liaising with suppliers at a senior level - Experience in Logistics management and international shipping - Experience with ERP (preferably SAP) and planning tools is essential - Ability to lead by example and work within a multifunctional matrix team - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across a range of stakeholders - Demonstrated problem solving skills with emphasis on root cause analysis - Demonstrated commercial awareness/ability - Supply chain degree or equivalent; CIPS qualification or equivalent preferred - Good interpersonal skills - IT literate; SAP experience desirable - Working knowledge of lean implementation in a low volume, high variety environment.
