The Henley College is looking for an experienced Teacher of Health & Social care with a strong background in the healthcare sector. You'll be be familiar with planning and teaching activities and will be required to teach both Level 2, Level 3 Health and Social Care and T Level Health. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact on the education and development of young people as they prepare for successful careers in the health and social care sector.
Essential Criteria
1. Teaching qualification
2. Degree in the relevant field or substantial experience
3. Commitment to active and student-centred learning
4. Commitment to keeping up-to-date with educational developments affecting the work of the College
5. Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
6. Well-developed organisational skills
7. The work collaboratively with a committed team of teachers and support staff
Terms of Employment
Tenure of post: Permanent, Part Time
Hours of work: TBC at interview
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Annual leave: 66 days per leave year (from 1 September to 31 August) (pro - rated for Part time)
Salary: The salary will be on the Henley College Teachers’ Spine from £28,024.00 up to £44,215.00 per annum (pro - rated for part time)
