Job Summary To set and operate a range of CNC-controlled machinery within the company, ensuring production meets required specifications and quality standards. Salary: Starting rate varies dependant on experience from circa £43,500 –£54,500 per annum (inclusive of 35% shift premium) A substantial earning potential of £65,000–£70,000 annually is achievable, which includes overtime, for flexible machinists who are willing to work additional hours within legal limits. A continental shift pattern consisting of a mixture of day and night shifts, working: Shift Pattern: Day shift: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m./ Night shift: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. 12-hour shifts (30-minute unpaid break) Employees work 14 shifts within a 28âday cycle with six consecutive days off every month. Overtime Rates: 1.5x the standard hourly rate for hours worked Monday through Saturday. 2.0x the standard hourly rate for hours worked on Sundays. A combo rate of £2 per hour is also paid for each additional machine operated. Urban Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham, United Kingdom, NG178APWe can offer a relocation package for the right candidates Main Responsibilities • Set and operate CNC machines, including: o DMG DMC 160U o WFL 120 / WFL 65 o MAZAK E500 o MAZAK Integrex i-400 o CINCINNATI FTV5 o UNION TC110 o TOS VARNSDORF WHN130MC o MCM Tank 1600 MP10 (10 pallets) • Produce precision machined components and tooling items to specification • Perform quality checks throughout batch cycles • Accurately record quantities and time allocation using company systems • Conduct regular machine maintenance as per schedules • Carry out any other duties within the scope of the role as requested by Senior Management Skills & Qualifications • The role will involve setting and operating a variety of CNC 3/4/5 axis machines, dealing with Aluminium, Steel and Titanium components to tight tolerances. • Must have good level of understanding in using either Fanuc / Heidenheim / Mazatrol / Siemens machine control systems; and also willing to develop further CNC machining skills and abilities. • Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management.
