Working as part of the operations team, your duties as Production Planner will include:
1. Coordinating and optimising production schedules
2. Ensuring efficient and timely production of goods whilst minimizing production costs
3. Managing stock levels
4. Providing timely product delivery to clients and customers
5. Meeting OTIF targets
6. Managing the works order process by the timely release of works orders for sales order requirements
7. Ensuring route cards are accurate and identifying any anomalies
8. Preparing weekly reports in Excel using formulas and pivot tables
9. Organising meetings with various stakeholders
10. Collaborating with production teams, supply chain and sales to understand data from demand forecasting and planning production requirements
11. Analysing and assessing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses
12. Coordinating with suppliers
13. Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules as needed
14. General administration and progress chasing
You will have:
15. Previous experience of production planning and scheduling
16. Strong IT skills including Excel and the use of formulas
17. First class communication skills
18. Excellent organisation and prioritising skills
19. High attention to detail
20. Good problem-solving skills
21. A methodical approach
22. The desire to develop and be part of a professional, forward-thinking company
