Job Summary:
As an Inside Sales Representative Intern at Honeywell, in Horsham, you will be responsible for providing proactive commercial and operational support to the Account Management team and directly managing a portfolio of smaller partner accounts. This role ensures smooth coordination of quotation, order, and escalation processes for partners, helping to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction across the channel.
This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This internship is set up for 12 months for a 2025 graduate with the possibility for a permanent opportunity once you complete your internship.

Key responsibilities:
You will work closely with experienced professionals, and fellow graduates, to gain hands-on experience within a friendly and supportive team to be trained to achieve the following:
1. Partner & Account Management Support: Support the Account Management team by handling day-to-day partner requests, including quotation creation, technical enquiries, lead follow-up, and order tracking. Manage communication on commercial and operational escalations (pricing, lead times, logistics, credit issues) - coordinating with internal Honeywell teams (Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain). Ensure high responsiveness to partners, maintaining Honeywell’s reputation for reliability and professionalism.
2. Quotation & Proposal Management: Prepare accurate and timely quotations and proposals for BMS solutions (hardware, software, services) using Honeywell pricing and configuration tools. Validate technical and commercial requirements in collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, and Channel Account Managers. Track and follow up on quotes to maximize conversion rates.
3. Tail Account Ownership: Independently manage a defined portfolio of smaller or inactive (“tail”) partner accounts across Northern Europe (. Nordics, Benelux).
4. Maintain regular contact with these accounts to increase Honeywell engagement, uncover new opportunities, and support reactivation or growth. Build strong relationships with key contacts in these partners to support loyalty and pipeline development.
5. Sales Operations & Forecasting: Maintain accurate opportunity data in CRM (Salesforce), ensuring pipeline visibility and forecast accuracy for your assigned accounts and supported territories. Support sales reporting, performance tracking, and partner KPI reviews for the Channel Sales leadership team. Coordinate with the Demand Generation team to ensure alignment on partner-generated leads and campaigns.
6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with Customer Service, Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Technical Support teams to ensure seamless partner support. Escalate issues promptly and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with internal teams. Contribute to process improvement for quoting, order management, and partner engagement workflows.
Key skills and qualifications:
7. A 2025 graduate in industrial engineering, business administration, electrical or electronic engineering
8. Knowledge of technical documentation, (from the workplace, internship, your degree, or a hobby)
9. Interest in building energy managements systems
10. Business level written and verbal communication skills in the English language
11. Can commute with ease to our Horsham office
