We’re working alongside an amazing post 16 Provision who are looking for a Construction Multiskills Tutor to inspire and motivate young people through practical, hands-on learning. Many of our learners face challenges such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, attachment difficulties or SEMH needs, and thrive when learning by doing. Construction is a great way to develop teamwork, problem-solving, resilience and confidence. The Role: Deliver engaging construction sessions in carpentry, decorating, tiling and basic plumbing Work 1:1 and with small groups, adapting to different abilities and confidence levels Encourage attendance, routine, personal responsibility and employability skills Use a trauma-informed, positive behaviour approach to support learners Contribute to lesson planning, schemes of work, record-keeping and team development Collaborate with parents, carers and external agencies where appropriate What We’re Looking For: Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or willingness to train) IOSH Working Safely qualification Practical construction skills or experience tutoring others Strong communication, relationship-building and behaviour management skills Empathy, patience, resilience and commitment to helping young people succeed Organised, flexible and team-focused Why Join Us: Full training and ongoing support provided Work with learners aged 16–25, including those with SEND and SEMH needs Make a meaningful difference helping young people develop skills, confidence and independence
