Mental Health Support Worker
Southampton, £14.75 – £15.00 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our team in Southampton, providing high-quality support to adults with mental health issues. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals manage their mental health, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals. Your experience in the health and social care sector, combined with your common sense and ability to work flexibly, will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing emotional support and assistance with daily living tasks.
* Helping individuals access community resources and services.
* Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized support plans tailored to each service user.
* Managing housing issues, benefits, and key working (experience desirable).
* Adapting flexibly with creative responses to the changing needs of residents.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience working in the health and social care sector, preferably with adults who have mental health issues.
* Good ongoing regular availability and ability to work flexibly.
* Strong commitment to providing high-quality support.
* Common sense, non-judgmental approach, and willingness to learn and develop skills.
