About the role Reporting to the Director Business Operations, the Head of Business Operations Priority Projects will be responsible for the delivery and management of the Indoor Multi-Sports Arena Project and the Aquatics and Leisure Master Plan. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, project management, and ensuring compliance with Council’s Project Management Framework. This is a temporary position up to August 2026. Essential criteria Tertiary qualification in Business and/or relevant field Demonstrated experience in project management, business management, community development and community engagement Excellent written communication skills, including presentation skills, together with high-level judgement and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver consultancies and projects in relation to time, cost and quality of outcomes Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $190,594- $220,617 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation, and will be negotiated commensurate with the skills, qualifications and experience of the preferred applicant. Access to a Leaseback Vehicle or Motor Vehicle Allowance is available with this position; however, it is not a condition of employment. You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied.
