Salary for this role is £46,000–£50,000 (4 days), which equates to a full-time equivalent (FTE) of £57,500–£62,500 for a traditional 5-day week.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Duty Solicitor, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering outstanding defence strategies. You’ll:
* Manage serious and complex criminal cases across police stations, Magistrates’ Court, and Crown Court
* Offer guidance and support to more junior colleagues
* Develop early legal strategies and instruct counsel clearly and confidently
* Represent clients at all stages with clarity, composure, and care
* Help uphold Ashmans’ reputation for ethical excellence and trusted advocacy

* 10% fee share (duty cases) | 20% fee share (own referrals)
