You will be an enthusiastic and organised individual with a keen interest in accounting. We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our growing Accounts team in our Bootle Fordstore.
A typical day in the life of an Assistant Accountant:
* Support the Dealership Accountants with production of Monthly Management Accounts for various departments to company deadlines.
* Completing Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Produce various analysis for Heads of Departments to support P&L Reviews.
* Accruals and Prepayments
* Daily bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
* Assisting and supporting the Accounts Department with all operational and administrative aspects to ensure the efficient running and management of work.
* Undertaking tasks and projects as set out by the Group Financial Controller.
* Dealing with general accounting queries from internal and external customers of the Accounts Department.
* Knowledge of Excel essential

Hours
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
