Key duties of the vehicle technician:
10. Diagnosing and fault-finding to determine necessary repairs
11. Carrying out vehicle servicing and repairs efficiently and accurately
12. Road testing vehicles to ensure fault resolution
13. Handling and storing parts correctly
14. Providing excellent customer care on every visit
15. Achieving and exceeding performance targets, including vehicle health check completions and video software usage
16. Contributing to team productivity by maximising work output and efficiency
Requirements for the vehicle technician role:
17. Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
18. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership environment
19. Excellent diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
20. Strong attention to detail and quality standards
21. Good communication skills and a professional attitude
