Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Lifeguard role based in Thornaby-On-Tees. The Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers, monitoring pool activities, enforcing pool rules, and providing first aid when necessary. Daily tasks also include maintaining cleanliness in and around the pool area, setting up pool equipment, and performing water rescues if needed. The Lifeguard will interact with members to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Qualifications
* Current Lifeguard certification and First Aid/CPR certification
* Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform water rescues
* Excellent observational skills and the ability to remain focused
* Good communication skills and the ability to enforce rules tactfully
* Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service
* Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
