As our parks continue to grow and evolve, so does the need to protect and secure our expanding sites and facilities. Our Security Team plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure and well-managed environment across all buildings, grounds and operational areas.
We are now looking for a dedicated Security Patrol Officer to work on a structured 4 on / 4 off 12-hour shift pattern, providing consistent patrol coverage across our sites.
This is a proactive, patrol-focused role responsible for safeguarding property, assets and infrastructure, while supporting the wider resort operation.

About You
You’ll be calm, vigilant and confident working independently across large resort environments.
You’ll have a strong sense of responsibility and understand the importance of visible patrols, building security and risk prevention.
You’ll be comfortable working extended 12-hour shifts, including nights, maintaining professionalism and alertness at all times.
You’ll be reliable, observant and able to make sound decisions when responding to incidents or security concerns.
Clear communication, professionalism and integrity are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a visible patrol presence across all resort sites and buildings
* Conduct scheduled and random patrols of grounds, accommodation blocks, plant rooms and service areas
* Secure and unlock buildings in line with operational requirements
* Identify hazards, risks or breaches and take appropriate action
* Respond to alarm activations and investigate concerns
* Deter unauthorised access, trespassing or inappropriate behaviour
* Support emergency procedures including evacuations and incident response
* Accurately record incidents, patrol logs and Daily Occurrence Book entries
* Escalate serious concerns promptly to the Security Manager or emergency services
* Communicate clearly with colleagues using radios and approved channels
* Remain vigilant to safeguarding concerns and report appropriately
* Use and manage security equipment (including radios and body-worn cameras) correctly
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
* Valid SIA Licence
* Ability to work a 4 on / 4 off 12-hour shift rotation
* Strong awareness of security and risk prevention
* Calm, professional and confident communication skills
* Ability to remain composed under pressure
* Reliable and proactive approach
Desirable:
* Previous patrol or site security experience
* Experience in large-scale, guest-facing or mixed-use environments
* Knowledge of safeguarding, licensing or health & safety practices
Safeguarding, Licensing & Compliance
This role requires strict adherence to safeguarding, health & safety and licensing procedures.
A DBS check may be required depending on duties and deployment.
Mandatory training and certification must be completed where applicable.
Hours of Work
Security operations run across days, nights, weekends, peak holiday periods and events.
Flexibility to work a rotating 4 on / 4 off 12-hour shift pattern is essential.
