We are currently looking for a qualified KS1 Supply Teacher to work in primary schools across Northampton, covering short and long-term placements.
Role Overview:
As a Supply KS1 Teacher with Aspire People, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to young learners in Key Stage 1, providing cover for absent class teachers. You will be stepping into a variety of schools across Northampton, helping ensure that students continue to receive exceptional education in a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 students in line with the national curriculum.
Provide support for children with different learning needs, ensuring inclusion and participation.
Effectively manage the classroom to maintain a productive learning environment.
Mark and assess students' work where necessary and provide feedback.
Ensure a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, managing behaviour effectively.
Collaborate with school staff and support staff to ensure students' well-being and development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in a primary school, specifically in Key Stage 1, is preferred.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young children.
A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
