Main Responsibilities
1. Serve the Customer:
* Ensure consistent and world-class customer experiences through proper implementation of our GUEST program in all stores and with all team members.
* Know our customer—understand what's important to them, what trends they follow, and how to meet their desire to stay trendy and hip. Keep updated on fashion trends.
1. Drive Sales:
* Achieve store sales plans and use performance metrics (e.g., Conversion rate, Transactions, Average Dollar Sale (ADS), Units per Transaction (UPTs), Sales per Labor Hour (SPLH), % Penetration in accessories, jewelry, etc.) to maximize results.
* Analyze reports to identify ways to improve individual store performance; develop action plans to meet targets.
2. Demonstrate Leadership:
* Be a role model by supporting company initiatives. Set clear expectations to ensure consistency in approach.
* Motivate the team to succeed by cultivating a positive, competitive culture. Use contests to encourage engagement.
* Empower store teams through training, coaching, and development.
* Organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, follow-up, motivate, and hold teams accountable for performance.
3. Develop People:
* Build and coach a successful team using encouragement, feedback, and recognition.
* Hire, train, develop, and retain qualified staff; use all interactions as coaching opportunities.
* Maximize performance via the company's performance management processes.
* Communicate goals and expectations clearly; provide feedback that fosters trust and growth.
4. Manage the Business:
* Use key reports to evaluate weekly store performance, make adjustments, and capitalize on opportunities.
* Manage employee schedules, including setting hours and processing timesheets.
* Ensure proper training and use of loss prevention tools to minimize shrinkage and meet shrink targets.
