John Ruskin College is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Motorsport Lecturer to join our busy Technology department, delivering teaching across Level 1 & 2 City & Guilds and Level 3 BTEC qualifications.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and teach Motor Vehicle Service courses including PHEV, Electric Vehicle, MOT Test, Air Conditioning and Repair.
* Work closely with Programme Manager, Motor Vehicle Coordinator and Engineering team to share skills, achieve student success and drive continuous improvement.
* Act as personal tutor, providing pastoral care, promoting attendance, supporting work placements, participating in team meetings and contributing to planning, development and review activities within the subject area.
Required qualifications & experience:
* Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in a Motor Vehicle Service and Repair discipline.
* GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
* Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification or commitment to work toward one.
* Minimum 3 years industry experience.
* Up‑to‑date industry experience.
