Job Description Summary
As a Manufacturing Quality Leader within our TPDG (Transformer Product Delivery Group), you will be at the heart of our quality strategy — leading the charge in aligning manufacturing KPIs, streamlining collaboration between cross-functional teams, and proactively resolving quality concerns before they escalate.
This pivotal role will see you coordinate closely with Fulfilment, Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams, ensuring our Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), CTQs, and PPAPs are fully aligned with customer requirements and executed with precision. You’ll drive root cause analysis, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and embed lessons learned into future projects, ultimately enhancing product performance and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the site manufacturing quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Act as the focal point for manufacturing quality KPIs across Fulfilment, Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams.
* Own and align critical quality documentation including ITPs, CTQs, and PPAPs.
* Champion manufacturing Risk Analysis using insights from previous projects to proactively mitigate future risks.
* Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and implementation of best practices to resolve quality issues efficiently.
* Support internal audits and ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
A strong background in transformer manufacturing is highly preferred, particularly with hands-on involvement in quality processes, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in a production environment.
* Significant experience in operational excellence or manufacturing quality leadership.
* Solid understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies and tools, including DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt desirable).
* Internal Auditor qualification would be highly advantageous.
* Experience leading small teams (3–5 people) with proven capability to mentor and develop team members.
