Rotational Physiotherapist (Ref: 224555)
Fixed term for 1 year
Full Time – 37 hours per week
Band 5 - Salary Range £33,247 – £41,424 per annum
Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum
Relocation Assistance of up to £4000 available
We are looking for a physiotherapist who is keen to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in a supportive environment. This contract is fixed-term for one year.
The post is based at the Gilbert Bain Hospital, Lerwick with a caseload covering a wide range of conditions. The rotations currently include MSK and LTC including ward inpatients, neurology and elderly outpatients. There is also an opportunity to support fracture clinic. You would be part of a small Physiotherapy service with excellent support to deliver services in a remote and rural population where we seek at all times to deliver care under best practice guidelines. You would have peer support from 3 other band 5 Physiotherapists.
There are excellent development opportunities and all team members are encouraged to participate in service improvement activity. We are happy to support UK graduates at Band 4 level pending receipt of the HCPC
