About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly skilled Endpoint Systems Engineer to take ownership of our organisation’s endpoint ecosystem and help shape the future of our digital workplace. You’ll play a key role in delivering smooth, secure, and efficient user experiences across laptops, mobile devices, and virtual desktop environments.In this role, you will manage operating system lifecycles, optimise endpoint configurations, and support feature delivery across the estate. You’ll work closely with our offshore support teams and serve as the primary contact for software packaging, deployment testing, and endpoint analytics.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperating System Support & Updates
1. Oversee OS lifecycle management, including patching, feature updates, andpatibility testing.
2. Build, test, and validate new features to support digital workplace initiatives.
Endpoint Configuration & Management
3. Configure and maintain Intune and SCCM environments.
4. Build, manage, and optimise laptop gold images for consistent deployment.
5. Support mobile device configuration and management across varied device types.
Collaboration & Project Support
6. Partner with offshore endpoint support teams to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
7. Act as the main point of contact for new software package creation, deployment testing, and validation.
8. Support digital transformation projects impacting endpoint services.
Digital Employee Experience (DEX) & VDI
9. Implement and support DEX tools to enhance user experience.
10. Provide technical support for VDI platforms and related services.
Lifecycle & Analytics
11. Lead software dmissioning activities across the laptop estate.
12. Deliver insightful endpoint analytics reporting to support informed decision‑making and performance improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
13. Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM configuration and management.
14. Proven experience managing OS lifecycles across Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems.
15. Knowledge of VDI technologies such as Citrix or VMware Horizon.
16. Understanding of DEX tooling and endpoint analytics platforms.
17. Experience building and maintaining gold images for laptops.
