An opportunity has arisen for a Control Systems Engineer to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.
About The Role
Working within the Controls Group to support the on-going development of our test hardware, processes and procedures. With the sole aim of supporting the delivery of a world-class product to our race programs.
What You Will Do
* Support the development and testing of our in-house test rig and vehicle control hardware and software;
* Develop new hardware, software, and support their integration into our vehicle architecture;
* Work with the Powertrain and Systems Engineers to ensure the test requirements are achieved and summarised;
* Write and maintain technical documentation to support the safe and efficient operation of test hardware;
* Available to travel to race and test events on an occasionally basis to support the development of our powertrain hardware.
About You
* GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Further education including BEng in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent industry experience.
* Be highly organised and comfortable working under pressure.
* Have clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Flexible attitude to working hours.
* To follow and actively enforce the company’s health and Safety and HV policies.
