Due to continued growth within our business we are currently looking for an experienced Groundsman to join our team. This will initially be on a seasonal contract. Full time permanent position may be available at the end of the contract for the right person.
We are a grounds maintenance and landscaping contractor based in Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway. We provide grounds care, landscaping, fencing and land drainage services to commercial and residential customers throughout Dumfries and Galloway and beyond.
Your job as Grounds Maintenance Technician is to ensure all services are carried out in a professional, timely and efficient manner. With attention to detail and customer care always present.
Some of the duties include:
* Grass cutting
* Strimming
* Hedge Trimming
* Fencing
* Turfing
* Landscaping
* Tree Work
* Site Clearances
Required values include hard working, attention to detail and good communication skills.
Position
- Seasonal (April-October)
- (some Saturdays may be required)
Salary
£13-£14 an hour 45 hours per week (depending on experience)
Experience
Experience is essential for this role and any additional landscaping experience would be very beneficial. A Pa1 and Pa6 would also be desirable however not essential.
