The School and Role
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a school in Gateshead (NE9) from January 2026. The KS2 Teaching Assistant appointed for the role will be working in a mixed Year 3/4 class, where some pupils have SEND. The role will involve general support, as well as some direct support for small groups/individuals. This is a ‘Good’ school, where staff go above and beyond to ensure each child has the tools they need to achieve.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
