Senior Associate – Clinical Negligence
Location: Newport
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our clients Clinical Negligence team. This is a key role involving caseload management, team leadership, and contributing to the strategic development of the department and wider firm.
Key Responsibilities

Manage clinical negligence matters to a high standard
*
Supervise, mentor and motivate fee-earners and support staff
*
Support departmental growth through business development and regular networking (1 event per month)
*
Contribute to management meetings and firm-wide initiatives
*
Strengthen client relationships and support the firm’s Business Plan
*
Promote a safe, professional and collaborative working environment
About You
*
Admitted Solicitor or Paralegal with ideally 5+ years PQE in clinical negligence
*
Demonstrated high performance in a senior or comparable role
*
Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills
*
Able to manage competing priorities and handle sensitive or complex situations
*
Confident in delegation, coaching, feedback and conflict management
*
Flexible to work outside standard hours when reasonably required
