Job Details
* Full time, permanent – 39 hours per week
* Monday–Thursday: 8am–4:30pm, Friday: 8am–3:30pm
* £16 per hour + regular overtime (1.5x rate)
* Location: Wallasey, Wirral – Workshop and Site work

The Role
As a Fabricator Welder, you'll play a key role in both workshop fabrication and on‑site welding projects. You'll take responsibility for running small jobs, ensuring work meets high standards for safety, quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble structural and custom metalwork
* Perform MIG and MMA (stick) welding to a high standard
* Liaise with the workshop foreman to coordinate project requirements
* Run small sites and take ownership of assigned jobs
* Create take‑off cutting lists and issue to semi‑skilled team members
* Uphold all Health & Safety procedures on site and in the workshop
* Solve problems efficiently and work confidently on your own initiative

The Ideal Candidate
They are looking for a skilled Fabricator Welder with hands‑on experience in both workshop and site settings. You'll be proactive, safety‑minded and take pride in producing top‑quality work.
* Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder
* Advanced MIG welding skills and solid MMA (stick) welding ability
* CSCS Skilled Worker Card
* NVQ Level 2 in Fabrication & Welding (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
* IPAF certification (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong problem‑solving and self‑management skills
