Search are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Finance Manager for our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working on a full-time (35 hours) permanent basis. Within the role, you'd be responsible for leading the Finance function and overseeing governance and compliance requirements. As a key member of the leadership team, you'd have scope to influence the financial strategy of the organisation, partly through provision of robust financial planning, analysis and reporting. Your responsibilities will include: * Lead the Finance team to deliver on strategic goals and support organisational development. * Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term sustainability. * Ensure robust financial controls, statutory compliance, and successful audit outcomes. * Produce monthly management accounts and financial analysis for senior stakeholders. * Develop commercial pricing models, support bid processes and assess project budgets. * Act as a strategic business partner, identifying risks and opportunities to support decision-making. * Review contracts and funder agreements to optimise value and minimise risk. * Oversee payroll, pensions, and various office operations. * Ensure and manage compliance and governance requirements. Skills and experience that will benefit your application: * A recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS). * Experience leading financial planning and managing financial performance. * Comfortable managing cash flow. * A track record of managing finance functions and demonstrable leadership ability. * Strong commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically. * Experience overseeing operational services. * Excellent communication skills with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
