Job Title: Utility Asset Specialist
Job Description:
A highly skilled Utility Asset Specialist is required to undertake a range of technical tasks related to utility searches, procurement, and site investigation. The successful candidate will have expertise in loading calculations, network reinforcement, and design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake utility searches to provide a comprehensive initial risk assessment of existing utility infrastructure.
* Prepare utility maps and drawings showing the type, location, and depth of various services.
* Manage projects and assist team leads with resource allocation and client communication.
* Produce technical reports summarizing existing utility assets and presenting budget costs for new connections and diversions.
* Prepare utility statements for planning submissions.
Requirements:
* Hold or be working towards a degree in engineering, project management, or a similar field.
* Experience in technical aspects of utility works, including loading calculations and network reinforcement.
* Able to manage lines of communication with stakeholders and understand the impact of utility constraints on schemes.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and other GIS systems/drawing software.
* A thorough understanding of PAS 128 Level D and HSG47 compliance.
