Job Title: Advanced Social Work Practitioner - Fostering
Salary: £21,420 to £23,071 per annum, plus £2000 market forces
Hours: 18.5 Hours per Week
Location: Worcester / Pershore
Team: Kinship Care & Support Team
Contract: Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity to join Worcestershire Fostering as we launch a new delivery model. You will be based in the Kinship Care & Support Team, work closely with the Team Manager to support the success of the team, hold a small caseload, and supervise Social Workers within the team. You will be instrumental in developing practice both in your team and across the Fostering service.
You will be an experienced, emotionally resilient Social Worker with excellent knowledge of Fostering and the ability to manage change, and you will be able to demonstrate a positive impact on children and young people\'s outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Hold a small caseload and supervise Social Workers within the Kinship Care & Support Team.
* Develop practice within your team and across the Fostering service.
* Support delivery of the new Fostering Service model alongside the Team Manager.
Team & Role Details
* Based in the Kinship Care & Support Team.
* Work closely with the Team Manager to support team success.
* Contribute to recruitment, retention and assessment within Mainstream Fostering and Kinship teams as indicated.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experienced, emotionally resilient Social Worker with excellent knowledge of Fostering.
* Able to manage change and demonstrate positive outcomes for children and young people.
