Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer required on a 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights) Shift Pattern for a processing company based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, Derby and Nottingham border. As an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer you will join a dedicated and experienced team, and your role is to assist in the maintenance of all plant, equipment and services so they are maintained in line with the companies PPM and safety systems. This is a material processing / recycling environment so experience in mining, quarrying, aggregates, or heavier industries or similar would be desirable. Some indoor and outdoor working is required. c£48k 3 x Life Assurance 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights, blocks of 4) 25 Days holiday Stats Maintenance Engineer responsibilities: Carry out PPM`s in line with CMMS. Respond to breakdowns in a quick, safe and efficient manner to keep downtime to a minimum. Suggest and implement plant improvements. Monitor and request spares to maintain plant and equipment. Complete documentation accurately. Take part in improvement projects to improve machine/process reliability. Attend daily toolbox talks. Qualifications & Experience: Ideally qualified in electrical engineering to Level 3 or above. Skilled in electrical fault finding, inverter changes, controls work, new motor installs etc Ideally apprenticeship trained or hold solid experience in a similar role. Experience of working in a material processing / recycling manufacturing type role is advantageous as you will be fully aware of the conditions.
