Job Description: Principal Social Worker (Recruit) Who You Are We are seeking an experienced Principal Social Worker to lead and shape practice within our Fostering Service. You possess extensive experience in fostering, including quality assurance of assessments. You have a strong understanding of fostering regulations, the function of the fostering panel, and are skilled in supervising and supporting staff. You are committed to working in partnership to improve outcomes for children and have a passion for equality and safeguarding. What the Job Involves This non-case holding role involves coordinating fostering recruitment activities and ensuring best practice standards. You will develop recruitment campaigns, work with various stakeholders, and ensure a strong fostering presence in the community. Responsibilities include supervising social workers, leading service improvements, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures. You will collaborate with managers on service training plans, multi-agency approaches, and represent Children's Services at various forums.
