1. Senior Geotechnical Data Engineer
ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
To develop and lead an effective site Geotechnical Engineering team capable of continuously enhancing performance whilst delivering on the business objectives / targets. To mitigate geotechnical risk by identifying geotechnical hazards and advising appropriate actions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Assess risks for all tasks and ensure they are controlled before and during task execution.
* Report all incidents and ensure they have been investigated and corrective actions completed on time.
* Act on all corrective actions assigned to you or under your jurisdiction and ensure timely completion.
* Establish necessary Geotechnical processes and practices for the operations of the Obuasi Mine.
* Provide geotechnical planning data to enable quarterly updates of the rolling 18-month plan.
* Develop the annual Geotechnical cost centre budget to achieve targets for annual, medium term and LoM business plans.
* Deliver Geotechnical work within approved budget targets and specified timeframes, costs and KPIs.
* Demonstrate Safety Leadership and improve the culture within the Geotechnical department.
* Ensure environmental obligations and performances by the team are met and procedures are followed.
* Investigate environmental incidents and submit reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.
* Attend scheduled environmental training and develop the team for delivery of annual budgets.
* Drive accountability and continuous improvement within Geotechnical team.
* Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory expectations.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Qualification
* BSc in Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or similar
Experience
* 5 years’ experience in open pit/underground geotechnical design and implementation; capable of analyzing geotechnical data and using rock mass classification methods.
* Ability to work with limited supervision and proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., RocScience, Map3D, GEM4D, Surpac, AutoCAD).
Legal Requirements
* Blasting certificate
* Valid First Aid certificate

2. Production Engineering / Geotechnical Roles (summarized)

3. Mechanical Technician – Rail System
ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The Mechanical Technician – Rail System maintains, installs, repairs and services rail systems and other engineering tasks to support safe production and control of maintenance operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Health and safety responsibility for self and mine workers
* Comply with government agencies, environmental, health and safety legislation
* Adhere to Environmental Management Plan; follow procedures; report deviations
* Interface with contractors for project work and planned maintenance
* Attend training; perform maintenance and repairs; document activities
* Provide data to support SAP maintenance planning; escalate anomalies

ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The E&I Shift Supervisor – Pastefill oversees electrical, instrumentation and communications for Pastefill Plant and related infrastructure to maximize availability and minimize risk.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Health and safety responsibilities; comply with regulations
* Maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment; condition monitoring; SAP work orders
* Safety reviews and continuous improvement; budgeting and KPI tracking
