We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team and make a real difference to pupils’ lives. In this role, you’ll provide support in the classroom, with small groups, and on a one-to-one basis. Using your behaviour management skills, you’ll help pupils to regulate their emotions, engage with learning and feel supported every step of the way. Our pupils are aged between 5 and 16, and some have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or conditions such as Autism and ADHD. Requirements To be considered for the role of Behaviour Support Assistant you will: DESIRED: Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Level 2/3 Early Years Educator DESIRED: Able to drive Ideally have prior school experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH or behaviour that challenges. Be confident in behaviour management skills to de-escalate. To mentor and engage with the pupils, delivering specifically designed educational packages.
