Temporary Administrative Assistant Commercial Department
Location: Westhoughton, Bolton
Working Hours: Full-time (MondayFriday)
Rate: Competitive, depending on experience
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our busy Commercial Department, primarily assisting our team of Quantity Surveyors. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is confident handling commercial documentation and supporting project-based work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting Quantity Surveyors with document preparation and management
Data entry and maintenance of commercial records
Compiling and formatting data for Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
Uploading and organising project files and contract documentation
Processing purchase orders, subcontractor applications, and invoices
Updating trackers and commercial logs (e.g. variations, payments, RFIs)
General administrative support to the Commercial and wider M&E teams
Requirements:
Previous admin experience (preferably within construction, M&E, or commercial environment)
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable:
Experience using document management systems or construction platforms (e.g. Viewpoint, Procore, etc.)
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
