Area Sales Manager
The Role: This growth position presents two new Area Sales Manager roles across London and the North West Home Counties to work for a major name in the construction world selling adhesives, sealants, and construction chemicals into a host of merchant & distribution accounts in the region.
This is a field based role whereby you will spend most of the week on the road conducting around eight face to face visits per day supporting your spending branch accounts with training, pricing, and merchandising support. In addition to this part of the role (80%) you will also strategically hunt for new opportunities to open up new stores & branches to help your sales efforts in the region.
This is a varied role whereby you will get involved with trade days, conferences & events, and a good mix of account management & new business development representing a real leader in the field.
The Company: A long established company who started out in the early 2000's, this brand are synonymous with quality and have a UK sales team who work very closely with some of the major national distributors in the country, as well as some of the larger independent buying groups. Their career progression is excellent, training supported, and they want to enhance careers for those who want to kick on.
For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
· Must have field sales experience in the construction industry
· Can have worked for, or sold into, a merchant or distributor
· Strong account management skills
· Field based, activity led salespeople who are driven to succeed
· Clean Driving license
Package: Up to £40,000 basic, up to £50k commissions & bonus (paid monthly, quarterly, and annually), company car, pension, laptop, phone, 20 days holiday + stats
