Are you an experienced driver with a keen eye for safety and efficiency? We're looking for a Shunter Driver to join our growing team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
🔧 Your Role:
As a Shunter Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely moving trailers/vehicles around our yard, loading bays, and designated areas to support logistics and production flow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in precision and care.
✅ What You'll Do:
* Move trailers and vehicles between bays, parking areas, and loading zones
* Perform vehicle checks and ensure all movements comply with safety standards
* Communicate with warehouse and transport teams to support loading/unloading schedules
* Keep accurate records of movements and report any faults or issues
🔍 What We’re Looking For:
* Valid UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 preferred but not essential)
* Previous experience as a shunter or similar role in logistics or yard operations
* Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility for shift work (including nights/weekends if applicable)
