Salary: Ranging from £28,000 - £32,500 per annum dependant on experience. Location: Brighton We typically work full time in the office to support the team, some flexibility to work from home may be offered. At this level up to 2 days per week, pro rata for non-full-time contracts. Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours / 5 days per week, Mon to Fri. 09.00 – 17.30 with lunch taken 13.00 – 14.00. We may consider alternative work patterns. Due to current resource levels this will need to be a minimum of 30 hours / 4 days per week. Job Description The successful candidate will join our busy team providing a fast and efficient service to our clients and will need to: • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner from start to finish • Create and maintain payroll records • Calculate part months & holiday • Manage statutory payments • Process P45’s • Liaise with clients, clarifying calculations as necessary. • Managing client pension schemes via a multiple of pension providers i.e. setting up and monthly uploading. • Practice software packages used – Sage, STAR & Xero • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Skills & Knowledge • Excellent numerical skills • Data entry experience • Record-keeping skills • Competent Excel user • Attention to detail; right first time • Capable of using own initiative to enable working with minimal supervision after initial training. Confident and capable communicator both with colleagues and clients and across all mediums. • Comfortable with problem solving. • Savvy with IT systems /software • Work in a methodical and well-organised manner • Multi-tasking abilities • Ability to prioritise and work calmly under pressure to manage efficiently a busy workload • Honest and trustworthy • Reliable • Minimum 5 GCSES A-C grade, including Maths and English.
