Pimlico Banks Recruitment are working with a respected UK organisation seeking an experienced Procurement / Contract Manager to take ownership of supplier sourcing, contract lifecycle management and commercial governance.
Role Overview
As Procurement / Contract Manager, you’ll lead and coordinate all procurement and contract activities across the business. The role covers strategic sourcing, tender management, supplier negotiation and contract oversight, while ensuring value for money, compliance and strong supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end‑to‑end procurement activity, including supplier sourcing, evaluations and competitive tender processes
* Draft, review and manage new and existing contracts across multiple categories
* Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service levels and performance measures
* Manage supplier onboarding, ensuring compliance with governance and risk controls
* Monitor contract performance, supplier delivery and KPI adherence
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with operational and commercial needs
* Maintain accurate procurement and contract documentation, records and reporting
* Identify efficiency improvements and drive procurement best practice across the organisation
About You
You will be an experienced Procurement Manager, Contract Manager or Category Manager with strong commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Essential Skills And Experience
* Proven background in procurement, contract management or category management
* Strong negotiation skills and experience managing tenders or competitive sourcing processes
* Understanding of contract law, commercial terms and supplier governance
* Experience onboarding suppliers and maintaining compliance documentation
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across different business areas
* Strong communication, analysis and relationship‑building skills
