Job Description:
Cera is recruiting Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in Aldershot.
Are you kind? A people person? Love making a difference in people's lives? Then we can offer you the perfect role as a Care Assistant, where you will genuinely make a difference every day! No experience required.
We are recruiting for part-time and full-time permanent positions, including days and nights. It's secure work with good pay, excellent training, and no previous experience necessary.
This role includes 20 hours of direct care and 20 hours of administrative-based care.
Extra Care units offer residents self-contained living spaces within a larger building, with access to care staff based within the unit who provide personalized care and support plans to help residents live as independently as possible.
Every client's needs are different. You may assist with housework, help with morning routines, prepare meals, provide companionship, support with medication, or help with washing and dressing. Our carers become friends, offering encouragement, companionship, and sometimes a laugh, especially during tough times. While caring can be challenging, many families are grateful for your support.
Our benefits include:
* Enhanced bank holiday pay
* Holiday pay and pension scheme
* Free DBS/PVG, company mobile phone, and uniform
* Access to the WeCare benefits & discounts platform and Blue Light Card Scheme for discounts on shopping, dining, and activities
* Enhanced maternity (12 weeks full pay), paternity, and parental leave policies
* Career development opportunities, including the Care Certificate and NVQs, with internal progression pathways
* Wellbeing support, including employee assistance, mental health first aiders, healthcare cash plan, and free eye tests
* Referral scheme - earn £500 per successful referral
