NEW Dental Nurse opportunity - Join Our Caring, Professional Team - Northwood Area - Up to £17ph

Position: Dental Nurse
Type: Mixed NHS/Private Practice
Employment Term: Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday (with flexibility for part-time applicants)
Hours: 08:30 – 17:30
Salary: £14 – £17 per hour (Higher rate offered for additional duties/responsibilities)

We are currently seeking a friendly and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our experienced team in a well-established mixed practice. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every patient receives the highest quality of care in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Dental Nurse, you’ll be an integral part of the clinical team, supporting our dentists and specialists to deliver a wide variety of treatments. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clinicians during general and specialist procedures
Ensuring that all clinical areas are well prepared, clean, and well stocked
Carrying out effective decontamination and sterilisation of instruments in line with cross-infection policies
Making patients feel comfortable, informed, and reassured throughout their visit
Updating patient records accurately using SOE dental software
Supporting the day-to-day running of the surgery and the practice as a wholeThis role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, confident in their abilities, and enjoys providing outstanding patient care with a smile.

What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Attributes:

Genuinely enjoys working with people and building rapport with patients
Excellent communication skills – calm, clear, and professional
Team player with a positive and flexible attitude
Committed to delivering a high standard of care
Friendly, polite, and confident in handling a range of clinical situationsDesirable (but not essential):

Previous experience using SOE (Software of Excellence) dental software
Willingness to take on additional duties or responsibilities (at an enhanced pay rate)
