Overview

Ready to fuel the success of globally renowned brands like Ariel, Lenor and Fairy that millions of consumers can't live without? Ever dreamt of a career where you are fully supported by world-class training and development to progress to leadership? Want to work for a company consistently recognised as one of the UK's leading graduate employers? Then embark on a career in Engineering (Manufacturing) at P&G at our London Plant (West Thurrock) where ideas become reality in world-class manufacturing facilities. Our environment embraces fast-paced change and cultivates leadership and commitment among our employees. We aim to ignite your potential and enable you to enhance the capability, safety, and productivity of our systems while reducing cost and boosting sustainability. We offer industry-leading learning and development opportunities to help you excel and take on new challenges across a range of areas.

About our London Plant: from raw materials to finished products, our production facility is where innovation meets execution. Engineers and plant technicians work together to maintain efficiency, uphold safety, and ensure every product meets P&G quality standards, delivering iconic products like Fairy, Bold and Ariel to consumers worldwide. The site is accessible to the city and is located in a well-connected industrial hub. Nearby are Chafford Hundred and Grays mainline stations (C2C) and several bus routes. On site there is free parking, a subsidized restaurant, a free on-site gym, occupational health support, and local events.

Responsibilities

* Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyse data for critical product and process parameters.
* Identify and eliminate or reduce losses through process or work-system changes.
* Own critical Daily Management Systems and be entrusted from the start to own these systems and processes.
* Share and reapply learning across processes, modules and plants as part of a wider Product Supply organisation, learning from others and sharing best practice across the region and sometimes the globe.
* Engage in day-to-day activities during the Manufacturing Career Academy and related early responsibilities.

Manufacturing Career Academy

The Manufacturing Career Academy is the final step in our application process to secure a graduate role with P&G. It is an intensive learning course designed to challenge your business, critical thinking, networking and team-building skills in real business situations. You will work on a real brand case study, including a presentation to a board of directors at P&G, followed by a final interview. The Academy will be held in person at our London plant in West Thurrock, Essex on 3–4 December 2025. P&G will cover all costs associated with attendance as we champion social mobility.

Qualifications & Requirements

* University students who will complete their degree by Summer 2026 in any Engineering discipline. We also welcome applications from graduates who already have a degree.
* Evidence of passion and achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities. Tell us what you’re proud of—whether it’s playing a musical instrument or holding down a job alongside studies.
* Strong foundational understanding of engineering principles within your field, plus problem-solving and leadership skills.
* Strong verbal and written English language skills.
* Right to Work: For entry-level technical roles, you will need a continuous or temporary right to work in the UK. If your current right to work is temporary or linked to sponsorship, P&G may provide sponsorship from the end of your current permission, subject to Home Office requirements. Details on visa restrictions are on the Home Office website and immigration rules may change. P&G is legally required to ensure all candidates have the right to work in the UK from Day 1 of employment. All applicants will be asked to provide evidence of their right to work at the conclusion of the recruitment process.
