Working in a busy, multi-site SME, you’ll play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR activity — from employee relations and policy development to HR projects that improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities
1. Acting as a trusted first point of contact for managers on HR matters, offering clear and practical advice.
2. Managing a range of employee relations cases — including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management — ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes.
3. Undertaking investigations where required, and guiding managers confidently through HR processes.
4. Supporting on payroll, contract, and benefits queries and advising in line with policy and employment law.
5. Reviewing and improving HR policies and procedures, identifying opportunities to streamline and modernise.
