Job Role: Powder Coater
Location: Leicester, LE2
Pay Rate: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
Shift: 2pm to 10pm Mon to Thu / 2pm to 9pm on Fri (39 hours per week)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy manufacturing and fabrication team, working across a variety of metal projects for retail, commercial, and industrial clients. Operating from a large, well-equipped facility, the role offers the chance to work on high-quality, bespoke products from preparation to final finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and blasting as required.
Apply powder coating using manual and/or automatic spray equipment.
Monitor curing process and ensure correct finish, thickness, and adhesion.
Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all Health & Safety protocols.
Collaborate with the wider production team to meet project deadlines.
About You:
Previous experience in powder coating within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Knowledge of preparation techniques, coating applications, and curing processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
