PT Renewables is partnered with a global manufacturing business to support their search for an ambitious Environmental & Sustainability Manager to look after their brand-new manufacturing facility.
This is more than just a tick-box compliance role - it's an opportunity to the shape the way manufacturing is done, in a high-performing, forward-thinking manufacturing environment.
The Role
You’ll be the driving force behind environmental efforts - from leading our ISO 14001 strategy and certification, to embedding carbon accounting and sustainability.
You’ll be championing smarter energy use, reducing waste, sourcing responsibly, and guiding teams to make greener choices every day.
You’ll get exposure to the whole business and be hands-on across multiple departments, ensuring that environmental considerations are built into operations from the ground up.
What you'll be doing:
* Designing and maintaining a first-class environmental management system in line with ISO 14001.
* Leading initiatives to shrink the businesses carbon footprint and enhance sustainability performance.
* Overseeing environmental compliance and proactively tackling risks or non-conformance.
* Auditing and reporting on key environmental metrics and driving measurable improvements
About you
* A background in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field
* Knowledge of ISO 14001 (bonus if you’re a certified auditor!)
* Familiarity with the manufacturing industry
* Confidence working with environmental legislation and reporting
* Basic salary up to £65,000 (genuine flexibility for the right candidate)
