Production Engineer – Innovative Systems Inc.
We are a high‑volume advanced manufacturer of precise electromagnetic components and subassemblies, working on vehicle electrification and advanced electrical motors for well‑recognised global customers. Responsibilities
* Design and develop new tooling schemes for specific part details.
* Produce prototypes including limited production of parts.
* Engineer responsibility for press tooling.
* Troubleshoot production issues on existing equipment.
* Lead production improvement initiatives.
* Participate in design reviews for new and current products.
* Write specifications for new equipment for developing products.
* Project‑manage the introduction of new machines and train others on new processes.
* Present solutions and ideas to the wider team (manufacturing, engineering, quality).
Technical Expertise
* Multilevel press setting
* Single level mechanical & hydraulic press setting
* Rotary presses
* Martensitic moulding
* Grinding processes
* Heat treatment processes
* Working understanding of automotive APQP.
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship route.
* Ideally 3+ years in a similar role.
* Hands‑on mechanical and electrical workshop skills.
* Strong communicator, self‑motivated, driven and persistent to achieve demanding targets.
* Systemise critical outputs in drawings, work instructions, FMEAs and control plans.
Work Pattern
37.5 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00.
Friday: 08:30 – 14:30.
