Assembly Technician

8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday with 2.30pm finish on Friday (40 hrs per week)

GI Pro are working with a leading communications product manufacturer that are recruiting for Assembly Technicians in Edinburgh.
This is an ongoing full time hours contract role
Offering a pay rate up to £12.21 per hour
Working shifts: 8am - 5 Monday-Thursday with 2.30pm finish Friday
The role
* Assemble / modify electrical or electronic products and equipment from
* Working from technical drawings
* Soldering, wiring, and working with hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other equipment
* Input data onto the CRM
* Will be some heavy lifting involved up to 20 kilos
The candidate
* Mechanical assembly, or soldering and wiring experience is desirable
* You will be able to work with hand and air tools / soldering irons
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
* Must be willing to rotate between various positions in the organization based on business needs.
